SOAR Bounce Fitness

YOUR B BODY: I workout to remind myself of how capable my body is, how grateful I am to be able to move and to get as sweaty as possible!

DANCE EXPERIENCE: Zero (ish)! I did one jazz and ballet class when I was 7. After my short stint in dance I decided to pursue soccer and ended up playing competitively through university – Go Griffs go!

FAVORITE CHILDHOOD FASHION FAD: I was a bit of a tomboy growing up and was all about the tear away pants, pony's and adidas high tops.

CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT: My paper agenda, deodorant & coffee.

FAVORITE FOOD/DRINK: Miss Vickie's chips, guacamole, pasta and tater tots!

CURRENT HOBBIES: Running, listening to podcasts, paddle boarding out at the lake, traveling with the hubs and drinking wine (that's a hobby, right?)!

OCCUPATION: Marketing Consultant

Sarah Wright


YOUR B BODY: Balanced. I love to work out, but also have a raging sweet tooth!

DANCE EXPERIENCE: Started ballet when I was 2.5 years old. Trained in ukrainian, modern & jazz, but mostly classical ballet.

FAVORITE CHILDHOOD FASHION FAD: Neon printed track jackets

CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT: Coffee! ...or really anything caffeinated!


CURRENT HOBBIES: Being at the studio- taking or teaching class.

OCCUPATION: Registered Nurse

Tori Smith

Height: 5’7”

YOUR B BODY: I bounce and do barre to keep my peach ripe

DANCE EXPERIENCE: Very little, however my Hip Hop instructor said I was a natural at the age of 12; I had believed her for most my life... until I started going out to the clubs in Edmonton.. and I am no natural dancer of any kind

FAVORITE CHILDHOOD FASHION FAD: Neon sweat suits with the words of either 'angel' or 'trouble' embroidered on the peach area

CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT: My persian cat Rocky!


CURRENT HOBBIES: Biking everywhere! And disc golf (like golf, but free and with a frisbee, not a golf ball)

OCCUPATION: Registered Nurse (Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department)

Tess Weir

Height: 5 foot 2 eyes a’ blue (I’m actually 5’3” but 5’2” sounds cuter)

YOUR B BODY: Will barre/bounce/run/swim/climb Everest for WINE!!!

DANCE EXPERIENCE: Almost none at all. I took ballet, tap, jazz when I was 6 until I was 9.

FAVORITE CHILDHOOD FASHION FAD: Matching sets! Complete with scrunchie!


FAVORITE FOOD/DRINK: Pizza (duh) and ice cold Strongbow on a nice hot day preferably at the lake!

CURRENT HOBBIES: Spin (one day I’ll find that beat), hiking, gardening.

Nikki Plamondon

Height: 5’4”

YOUR B BODY: Bounces for Donuts.

DANCE EXPERIENCE: 18 years dance experience in ballet/cecchetti/pointe work, jazz, tap, musical theatre, contemporary and hip hop.


CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT: My dog and essential oil diffuser

FAVORITE FOOD/DRINK: Still donuts… and anything Greek

CURRENT HOBBIES: Mala necklace making and exploring YEG!

Michelle Shewchuk

Height: 5’3”

YOUR B BODY: My barre/bounce body is a powerhouse, it literally carries me through each & every day - from work, to workouts, to running errands and meeting up with friends. I workout so that I can keep my body healthy & happy. Not only does working out give me the strength to participate in numerous activities (like obstacle course runs, which I love!!), but it also gives me the strength to power through day to day activities (like groceries and HAVING to take them all inside in one trip). Working out also not only nourishes my physical body, but also my mind - every workout is like a mental reset, giving me more clarity and energy to take on the rest of the day. Oh.. and I like nachos... and ice cream, like A LOT, so I also work out because of that.

DANCE EXPERIENCE: Does dancing on ice count!? I was a figure skater for 15 years, doing both singles skating & synchronized skating.

FAVORITE CHILDHOOD FASHION FAD: Buffalo (platform) shoes, carefully paired with a skirt overtop of pants & topped off with some butterfly clips (thank you Spice Girls)



CURRENT HOBBIES: Making wedding invitations, and Sudoku puzzles

Amanda Nichols

Height: 5’7”

YOUR B BODY: I love lifting heavy things to stay badass, running OCR to keep the inner kid happy, and overall health to balance my love of food and good cocktails.

DANCE EXPERIENCE: Dancer through grade school. Nowadays whenever and wherever 90s techno comes on.

FAVORITE CHILDHOOD FASHION FAD: Plaid shirts and everything oversized. Always comfortable.


FAVORITE FOOD/DRINK: Breakfast food. every meal, everyday, forever.

CURRENT HOBBIES: Painting, photography and trying to learn the ukelele

OCCUPATION: Massage Therapist

Hannah Kulmatycki

Height: 5’2”

YOUR B BODY: I bounce and barre so I eat whatever my heart desires, to beat olympians at their own sports and to keep my asthma in control!

DANCE EXPERIENCE: 19 years of on going dance training in ballet, jazz, contemporary and others! Trained in Russia to obtain my Russia ballet certification and I have my teaching certification for ISTD ballet as well!

FAVORITE CHILDHOOD FASHION FAD: Socks in sandals or double buns

CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT: Kinder chocolate and my puppy Earl

FAVORITE FOOD/DRINK: Grilled cheese, KD and 1/2 sweet non-fat caramel macchiatos

CURRENT HOBBIES: Instagramming, water colour painting, trying new food and restaurants and traveling!

OCCUPATION: Student, Barre and SOAR instructor and dance teacher

Carla McNeil

Height: 5'4"-ish

YOUR B BODY: I workout to keep myself happy and stress free. Also the amount of dessert I eat needs to somehow be offset.


FAVORITE CHILDHOOD FASHION FAD: Scrunchies, still rocking them.

CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT: A water bottle, I bring a water bottle with me almost everywhere I go.

FAVORITE FOOD/DRINK: Mexican, I could live off of tacos and margarita's. I also love the Egg Yolk Raviolo from Bar Bricco

CURRENT HOBBIES: Running, cooking and baking, hiking (summer), travelling and barre!

OCCUPATION: Media Manager - I plan and buy advertising campaigns for various clients.

Jen MacLean

Height: 5'5"

YOUR B BODY: I love the satisfying feeling I get when I push my body as far as it will go. When I push myself to the breaking point, bringing on the shakes, I feel stronger than I did yesterday!

DANCE EXPERIENCE: I danced for sixteen years. I have also participated in cheerleading and gymnastics.

FAVORITE CHILDHOOD FASHION FAD: Anything Disney! When I was a kid I was obsessed with Peter Pan and even attempted to fly! Thank goodness I was not hurt too bad, but I quickly learned my lesson.

CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT: I can’t live without my friends and family definitely. They are everything to me!

FAVORITE FOOD/DRINK: Lasagna for the win!

CURRENT HOBBIES: Volleyball, dancing, and music.

OCCUPATION: A little bit of everything: youth worker for homeless kids, lifeguard, and professional drill sergeant on the trampoline.
